Summer, Summer, Summer TIME!!!!
I bet you all are very excited to become beach bums and wear cute clothing! I sure am looking forward to mincing in the sun to get my golden tan and having spontaneous road trips to the beach in the evening with my friends. But before I can head to the beach I need to WERK, and because I mainly work in the CBD I cant really be running around in tiny shorts and flip flops (not that I wear tiny shorts, but you know what I mean).
What I would usually go for is something flirty but conservative!
This top isn’t ideally what I would go for. In fact it is a little too girly for me because of the exaggerated frills and flared sleeves but once I tried it on, I just couldn’t get enough of it!. I guess what really calmed my bones was pairing it with torn skinny jeans that are still my no1 favourite item of clothing.
When I was younger (like 8years old) I grew a great interest in cutting my clothing and it was my way of making the “hand me downs” work for me. I don’t remember getting hiding for this but I do recall it not being an option most times, so I had to learn to deal with the unflattering clothing and just make it work. I wasn’t the most girly of girls but I liked wearing what I wanted to and how I wanted to. I guess this is why I grew an interest in Fashion.

This leads me to Look No2…
A simple tuck and change of accessory makes a huge difference. If it looks good on someone else, it can look good on you too. You’ll just need to believe it and dress with confidence! If you are not one for bold prints then give the bold flared sleeves a shot this Spring.
